Why Web Sites Exist – Because of the Web Hosting Providers

There are so many web sites available in the world and thinking about the infrastructure needed to host them is a gargantuan task.  However, since all the web sites exist and continue to be hosted, there could be a solution that has made them available however complex it may seem.  And this task belongs to the web hosting and website hosting providers that have done an unenviable job to support all customers and requestors all over the world with high efficiency requirements.

Since the internet has developed so greatly, advancements in web hosting services have likewise advanced in parallel fashion.  Today there are a multitude of services like shared, dedicated, virtual private server or VPS, colocation, reseller, managed systems, etc.  A shared hosting service means that customers share resources or a server to “served” their website.  By being a shared solution, it is by far the cheapest among the web hosting guide and services being offered.  However when one website goes down, it results to a domino effect causing the other websites to go down as well.  Such issue is resolved by dedicated hosting and fully managed systems service. Although these are more expensive solutions, the customer is given utmost control and autonomy over the resources.  An alternative to the shared and dedicated hosting services is the virtual private or VPS system.  In such hosting service, special software is used to create virtual servers that act much like dedicated servers.  This innovative service is a cross between the shared and dedicated service in terms of cost but offers very good overall performance as well.  The reseller hosting service is a business oriented service because the customer can purchase internet bandwidth that can be sold to other customers at profit.  The managed system is the most worry free hosting solution because the providers offer the extra mile to monitor and manage the resources on behalf of the customer to ensure 100% uptime and reliability.
